True Stories
There's so much pressure to be someone or somewhere else.
For me, a lot of that is born of what I know myself to be capable of. It's not, "society told me I should be ___;" it's, "I believe I can be ____, therefore I 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 be ____." The first part of that is amazing! I have goals I know I can reach. There are roles I know I can step into. There's an impact I know I can make.
It's the second part that causes all the stress and anxiety—especially when what I really mean is, "therefore I should 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 be ____." I should be different than I am. I should be better 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸 . I should have done more. I should have acquired more.

As of today:
You're exactly who you're meant to be—because that's who you are.
You're exactly where you're meant to be—because that's where you are.
You've done exactly what you were meant to do—because that's what you did.
Where you go and who you'll be tomorrow is up in the air.
Tomorrow you could embrace change and be a hundred miles away.
Today: you are who you are, and that's enough. In fact, that's perfect.
