A Butterfly's Wings

A butterfly flaps her wings.

And a mile away a man loses his footing,

And falls hopelessly in love love with a woman he dreams of nightly;

And a world he had once hidden himself from;

And a side of himself he had hidden from the world;

And a God he had long since forgotten;

And a future he was too afraid to dream of;

And a life he didn't know was worth it.

A butterfly flaps her wings.
