Coffee Mugs

Sometimes it's that simple: one tiny change and your perspective on something shifts completely.

I recently bought a new mug.
I look forward to using it.
So, I look forward to mornings.

Kind of.

Let's explore: decisions (like whether to get out of bed or stay in paradise) are like little individual equations with all kinds of variables. On each side are things like, "long-term gain," "short-term pleasure," and "pain."

It's often hard to pick the "tough-but-right" choice since long-term game doesn't hold as much sway as short-term pleasure, and the "right" choice is often lacking the latter.

So, one way we can make the "tough choices" easier, is by adding immediate rewards.

Enter the amazing coffee mug which I'm eager use. The equation tips just a liiiiitle more to the "get-up-early" side and it doesn't take quite as much willpower to make that hard choice.

So tell me, how can you tip the scales?
